About Me

I became a Christian at 13. I didn’t display it very well in my youth, but I came back firmly after I got married. I am blessed to have been with the same wonderful woman for more than 40 years. We have two daughters and three grandchildren. I retired in January 2025, having worked for over 40 years in engineering and project management. Over the years, I’ve held an expert parachuting license and an FAA parachute rigging license. I’ve completed six marathons, including a 50-mile ultramarathon. I first started playing a 5-string banjo in 1983, and my favorite genre is bluegrass gospel. I’ve taught Sunday School, been on many committees, and was the lead trustee for many years. Today, I am a writer whose mission is to help people find Jesus.
